WHY ARE CRAFTS GOOD FOR KIDS?
MASTERING NEW SKILLS
Crafts with end products require a certain level of skill to complete, and every time a child learns a new skill whilst watching Pop Paper City it’s a boost to their confidence.
CREATIVITY
Crafting with an end product in mind fuels inner creative fire. New crafting techniques learnt watching Pop Paper City will inspire children to make things of their own accord.
PERSERVERANCE
Some crafts which seem very simple to adults are tricky for little fingers, and it can take great perseverance to learn the new skills as mentioned above.
SELF-ESTEEM
Making something and finishing a project, then putting it on display at home boosts a child’s self-esteem. They will be proud of what they’ve made whilst watching!
RELAXATION
Letting your mind focus on making something without pressure or stress allows your other thoughts to take a rest, helping you to achieve inner calm and relaxation.
STEM SKILLS
Many of the crafts within the show involve patterns, others involve building and construction. These help kids develop early maths and creative problem-solving skills.
